Makin' Chaykin: "Brother Killers!" by Kanigher and Chaykin

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Time for more awesome artistry courtesy Howard Victor Chaykin! Today we're diggin' his Enemy Ace debut in Men of War #9 (June 1978). Written by EA co-creator Robert Kanigher, "Brother Killers!" is actually the second part of this particular Enemy Ace serial, the first part having been drawn by Larry Hama and Bob Smith  in MoW #8 (which you can read here). Are ya ready for take-off? Here we go!!

  1. Excellent, Groove! I love this early Chaykin stuff. This post definitely deserves like a zillion "up" or "cool" votes.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
